Artist's Days in the Willows and Fall Art Show

The third annual Art in the Gardena Willows fundraiser gives artists an opportunity to show their work and get back to nature. Local artists are invited to participate in an exhibition from Oct. 23 through Nov. 6 at the APC Fine Arts Gallery in Torrance. They can do this by submitting up to three pieces in all mediums with a tax-deductible $15 donation for each submitted work. In addition, they will be required to donate 25 percent of their purchased work to support the Friends of Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve Inc.

All entries must feature or be inspired by the Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve and, as such, artists are being provided specific days in which they can visit the preserve to work on their art projects. Some dates in September will be available by calling 310-217-0681.

A reception and silent auction will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 30 at the APC Fine Arts Gallery in Torrance.
