How to Help

There are many ways you can help the Friends of Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve!  Here are a few ideas:

  1. Become a member of the Friends--regular or a business member

  2. Participate in the monthly Second Sunday Stroll activities from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

  3. Like our Facebook page and share with your friends!

  4. Make a tax deductible donation--make your check payable to Friends of Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve and send it to:

  1. Join us for a monthly 3rd Saturday Restoration Day from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Completed Volunteer Form Required. Please bring your form with you on your first day attending.  Thank you!

  2. If you have ideas how you'd like to help, please call 310-217-0681.

  3. Attend Gardening Classes on various topics at Arthur Johnson Memorial Park Community Room.

  4. Frequently visit this web site or pick up current flyers at the Nakaoka Community Center, Gardena City Hall, and Mayme Dear Library, or for additional information call 310-217-0681.

  5. Donate to the Friends CRV aluminum cans, plastic bottles and glass beverage bottles. Everything must have the CA recycle code/symbol. Bring them to the Preserve on the dates open or call 310-217-0681 to arrange a pick-up.
